This policy explains what information Shippingo collects from merchants, drivers and site visitors, and how we use it to run the platform.
Information we collect
Account details you give us when you sign up (name, business name, phone, email). Shipment and COD transaction data created through the platform (addresses, parcel details, amounts collected). Usage data such as pages visited and device/browser information, collected automatically when you use the dashboard or tracking page.
How we use it
To operate the platform: create waybills, route shipments, and reconcile COD settlements. To provide support when you contact us. To secure accounts and detect fraud. To meet legal and tax obligations in Egypt.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a small number of cookies for basic product analytics. We do not use cookies to sell your data to third parties.
How we share it
With drivers and branch staff who need shipment details to complete a delivery. With payment and settlement processors needed to pay out COD collections. With service providers who help us run the platform, under contract. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep account and shipment records for as long as your account is active and for a further period afterward to meet accounting and tax retention requirements under Egyptian law.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your account data by contacting karimmuhamadfci@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and explain any limits on deletion, for example records we must keep for tax purposes.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect account and transaction data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we will notify affected users if we become aware of a breach affecting their data.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where required, notify account holders directly.
